full-time 3 year diploma in musical theatre & dance incl. accredited HND

Our full-time 3 year diploma course will prepare you for work in the profession, ensuring you develop a relevant, employable skill set and leave as a genuine 'triple threat' performer ready to embark upon your career. The option to study for an HND (subject to validation) in two years also allows students to 'top-up' to a degree by continuing their studies elsewhere after their first two years training with us.

Year 1 - foundations

Your first year focuses primarily on core skills, ensuring a solid and broad foundation across all disciplines. You will take technical classes and will develop a critical mind.

Year 2 - consolidation and development

You will consolidate the learning from your first year, developing a greater technical competence and focussing on artistry. We also start to look more in depth at personal strengths, employability and audition technique.

Year 3 - the package

Your final year will focus heavily on preparing you for life as a professional within the industry. You will perform in a range of productions and work closely with creatives from within the industry, building contacts and experience. Your third year will include a showcase and final production.

Students are assessed rigorously throughout the course and are supported by outstanding pastoral care, dedicated physio support and more. All students receive individual one-to-one tuition from our leading faculty alongside a vast array of group classes and workshops with visiting creatives.

All our full-time courses maintain in the region of 30-35 contact hours throughout the entire course, running over 5 days Monday-Friday. You should expect to work intensively throughout the entire course. The demands placed on you will be high and you will be expected to complete work outside of normal hours. We push our students hard, set high expectations and will ensure you reach your potential as a professional, well-rounded, employable performer.

The three year diploma course costs £9,000 per year.

Entry is strictly by audition only. There is no charge to audition. Applications should be made online. We are happy to arrange online auditions for overseas applicants.

Foundation Course

We also offer an intensive one year full-time foundation course for students wishing to gain further training prior to entry onto a three year course. Previous students have auditioned successfully and can now be found training at many leading drama schools including Guildford School of Acting, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Urdang Academy, Bird, Laine etc etc
