The Big Act offers a range of training opportunities for students aged 16+ and 18+ wishing to pursue a career in the performing arts. We offer full-time courses at a pre-vocational / foundation level and professional vocational training.

We're proud to be the premier provider of full-time musical theatre and dance training in the area, every year attracting applicants from all over the UK.

Our courses are aimed at students with a desire to train hard at a high level, developing their core skills and refining their technique to a professional standard.

All students receive individual one-to-one tuition as well as group and ensemble classes.

​

Our courses are delivered by a range of tutors, all of whom are experts in their discipline. Primarily delivered by a core team, you will also regularly experience working with visiting tutors and creatives from within the industry. Since The Big Act was founded in 2003 we have built up not only an excellent reputation within the industry but also an extensive network of performers and creatives of the highest standard.
